What determines the success of a perfume?

In Truffaut’s film "La Femme d’à côté", Fanny Ardant says: “Songs are stupid, and the stupider they are, the truer they are.”

Sometimes the quality of a song doesn’t matter; what counts is how we use it.

When we listen to one, what truly matters is the way the notes speak to our heart and vibrate against our skin.

The reality is that there are no truly stupid or useless songs, because even the lightest ones weave themselves into moments of our lives and take on meaning.

That is the beauty of art. It is the same with perfumes.

Creative and design brilliance can stem from simple, commonplace elements.

Tuberose According to Me

This concept stems from the idea of working with tuberose—a flower that has shaped the history of perfumery and whose scent has always fascinated me—in seven different ways.

I wanted to give each interpretation a distinct identity by collaborating with illustrators I consider extraordinary.

For the olfactory aspect, I enlisted the expertise of Arturetto Landi, an internationally renowned perfumer whom I regard as my great mentor.
